2013 saw the egregious growth of the media's use of the infograph. The net effect was a catastrophic dilution and complication of data, disseminated under any blend of gaudy, overstated, and irrelevant forms.

This petition is meant to open up a national dialogue on infographs and the devastation wrought on the successful communication of valid, pertinent information.
