I was checking my phone at dinner and my jaw just dropped because the momentum here is honestly getting impossible to ignore. It is wild to think about how many people are actually feeling this backpack weight issue as much as I am and it makes the early days of emailing people who didnt reply seem like a lifetime ago.

THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN NOW MY BACK HURTS READING THIS
LOCKERS. Use them. We have them for a reason!! Why do they have to haul everything all day long?
I checked my kids bag on the scale and it was 22 lbs. He weighs like 90 lbs. That is way too much for a child to carry around.
my son is in 7th grade and he can barely stand up straight with all those textbooks. he has back pain already and he is only 12. fix this.
My daughter complains about her shoulders hurting every single day. She is so small and the bag is bigger than her. Something has to change.
