To all major manufactures of Sports Cards and Memorabilia, this petition is set forth to stop producing "event worn" sports cards. We as collectors do not want, care or even like these items. Such items have flooded the market with fake sports memorabilia, manufactured to simulate real collectible items.
We are asking that if material cards are to be produced, game dates should be specified on the cards along with your guarantee that is normally printed on the card. If the date isn't known, the estimated year could be included. We are also asking that you specify that that particular player wore that material within that card.

I agree I've never played in a game therefore I shouldnt have cards with game worn material
When I splurge on a card, I want to make sure it is an actual game used card

I agree, the "event worn" cards are ruining this hobby. Even when you get a numbered card of a good player, they are basically worthless and being oversized create storage problems as well.
