With the every advancing movement of technological advancements and the power that the information super highway provides, more and more data is needed to stream movies, music, video games, video calls and chats, etc. And due to the multiple various tasks, our internet service providers are just not able to handle. With most internet service providers only giving out at best 6 mega bytes per second (mbps) there's no wonder that your movies take so long to load. Or how about trying to download large files for your office? It's just insane!

But what if I told you that on average, the speeds at which internet flies by in other countries are significantly faster? How about hearing 26 mbps in Germany? Sounds impressive doesn't it? Now what if I told you that some speeds in South Korea are topping out at 54 mpbs?! To put all this in perspective, in order to download a 2 hour movie on Netflix in under 10 seconds, you would need at least a good and solid/stable 10 to 15 mpbs. And South Korea, as well as countries like Germany are getting much more than that.

The reason for this concern, is not only for the fact that we are pushing very slow internet speeds with multiple data caps, but also it is embarrassing considering that the United States is such a very well off industrialized nation, and should be getting so much more than this. Bellow are links to articles about the various internet speeds that other countries are getting as well as the truth about data caps in America.

If could please sign for my petition, I would like to see where everyone is able to get unrestricted internet as well as faster download speeds and the ability to watch our movies, speak with our friends and family, as well as have business calls, all without the hold up of slow speeds.

Than you and God Bless
