This is important! Common Core Math is not necessary. I feel that it is teaching kids the hard way out. For instance 12 - 10 = 2. Easy, right? Common Core way , (10 - 10) + ( 2 - 0 ) = 2, wait what? And I learned this in 4th grade. Would you use this to figure out a math problem? Now I was talking to my aunt who has a son in 1st grade, she could not figure out what to do. She hired me to tutor him and guess what it was math! Some kids are having a hard time with the easy things let alone the hard! (You know what I think) I think that Common Core math is good for on thing, a BAD REPORT CARD!
