NO MORE CELL TOWERS IN CARLSBAD PARKS
PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION IF YOU BELIEVE IN PROTECTING CARLSBAD'S QUALITY OF LIFE AND MAINTAINING THE AESTHETIC INTEGRITY OF OUR PARKS.
The City of Carlsbad is proposing MORE unsightly wireless communication towers – like those that have gone up in Calavera Hills Park – at Poinsettia Park. We URGE the City Council to push for alternative sites per their Council Policy 64 that deems community parks in residential areas unsuitable for cell phone towers.
Cell phone towers:
- Disrupt aesthetic and natural integrity of Carlsbad's parks
- Potentially lower property values
- Potentially harmful to humans and wildlife per World Health Organization
- Incompatible with residential areas frequented by families and children
- Lowers the perceived quality of life in Carlsbad
