NO MORE NATIONAL PARKS IN WESTERN NSW

No more locked up land by national parks

There are enough Parks in western NSW as it is now breeding Ferrel animals.

National Parks are Foot and mouth incubators

When is either side of government going to realise we need agriculture as our main industry in this country. Mining is a finite industry with a ever quickening end date.

More parks, more staff, more tax payer money needed, more uncontrolled feral animals, less farming/grazing land, what benefit does it generate?

State and federal Governments have taken more than enough land from western NSW

Because they have done such a great job with the areas they have already taken eg Pilliga Forest !!! Absolute disgrace

National parts have no positive outcomes for our area nor the surrounding areas. Landholders are conservationists

I worked for Bourke NPWS, most poorly managed and corrupt area i have worked in.

These National Parks will never recoup the money that they have cost to buy. As for saying that different birds/animals/ frogs or whatever are endangered I find that hard to understand as in a drought yes you won’t find some species but as soon as there is a rain event or flood they all return. My father owned and managed land out NW of Bourke, he and most of his neighbours managed their land very conservatively to the best of their abilities for the time. And as previous people have said you lose a lot of different industries, and has a negative effect on the whole region.

Why is this happening and what will become of the land that was once farms?

Is this the Government’s vision for the future? Heaven help Bourke if that is the case.

Look what it is doing to the substance of our wonderful community.

We need the land to be able to grow food and support our country and stop supporting the simple stuff that we can make here

Realise what these purchases do to local communities and the environment.

Don’t make the far western areas of NSW ghost towns. NP’s don’t contribute to community at the same rate as farming families. Keep the far western areas for farming not once in a lifetime caravans
