Happening all too frequently. Also as Australians we are not even allowed to visit some or parts of these National parks. In some countries overseas any entity with 'National' means it is free to ALL their citizens, not just a select few.

They can't maintain the country they have, and are artificially inflating the price of country in the western division with thier lucrative purchase prices.

You can't feed the world with food from a national park. National parks don't have the resources to correctly manage the land they already have and are a breeding ground for pest animals.

In a time where education and health need so much money the government is spending taxpayers money on national parks they can’t keep employees at the properties that they have have but they just keep buying more. In our experience they are not good neighbours and we need production in these properties for food, sustainability and people who invest in the areas they live.

They should not be allowed to buy more country if they cannot afford to manage it properly. My experience shows that npws are just a vote buying arm of govt, wait till the taxpayers wake up and see the mess that has been created. Private landholders near parks are being driven out by increasing feral pests from national parks and fire risk. They are also being tempted by the unlimited purchasing power of the govt. Not fair to any private person wanting to buy in a rigged market, government should be ashamed of its behaviour. There will soon come a time when I will throw away 30 years of volunteer fire fighting experience in protest, I will not give much more of my time to a state that is sacrificing an industry for their own short term political gain.

It’s is disgusting how the government is treating the local communities in those areas.
