Just last week I witnessed a woman being assaulted outside liquor outlet in Pt Chev by intoxicated male....Please no more are needed!

There are already enough bottle stores in Pt Chev. Given the causal link between increased availability of alcohol and increased social harm, I don't think we need another.

Point Chevalier already has too many liquor stores and adding another one into the area will just increase the amount of drink drivers, homeless, addicts and more into the area. It will encourage people to buy and consume alcohol more often. This is the last thing we as a community need.

Point Chevalier is already well catered for when it comes to buying alcohol. This area needs a greater variety of retailers, not more of the same. We have a lot of schools in close proximity and what message will yet another outlet send to our most impressionable?

Enough, we are getting an increase in drunken, anti social behaviour already. Surely, we have enough places to buy booze! This is a family area.

In our Auckland Plan we say we want to reduce the harm from alcohol. We don't need alcohol outlets popping up on almost every street corner. The proliferation of local liquor stores encourages alcohol use.
