If we are expected to teach in person, then the district meeting to discuss our reopening should be in person. Teachers should not be forced to give up their position when opting to teach virtually just to ensure their child’s safety.

do not mandate mask. Also let it be known that if the public that have chose to wear a mask just stay 6ft from those that have chosen not to it is the same safety procedure.

Any scientific findings that I have read have indicated no protection since the virus is so small and most people are not wearing the correct medical masks. It lowers your oxygen intake and you breathe in more carbon monoxide which causes the elderly or someone with a health issue ie lung or heart issues to pass out. Sounds like it could be lawsuits in place of businesses. The elderly are wearing in their cars and getting in to automobile accidents. How many wake up calls do we need. We need common sense. You don't feel well you stay home.

If safety is the main goal:
N95 superior masks
If everyone isn’t walking around in N95’s, then it makes perfect sense to ban all public speaking or even going out in public. Even N95’s don’t collect all particles, hence the name N95 (95% of 0.3 microns and larger), forget about the fact these particles are 0.15 microns. Cut to the chase and ban all public speaking and breathing if safety is the ultimate goal
