Whereas, in response to the over-hyped and nearly non-existent mortality risk of the Covid-19 hysteria, and the inadequate and unproven science of the effectiveness of masks, the types of masks, the enforceability by law enforcement, the constitutionality of such requirements, the potential for Lawsuits on behalf of employees against Employers for violations of OSHA protocols and guidelines, the unknown health risks to the general public without knowing medical history and without proven or effective mask technology for the claimed "risk" of the virus,
Whereas it is NOT the job of the government to guarantee the health of people or mandate their choices, but instead simply to promote the general welfare and educate and make adequate resources available to people in the form of hospitals, medical services, equipment and educational materials,
We, as a Free People of Collier County Florida and as defenders of our constitutional and God-given rights, allow our Elected Officials to temporarily borrow the ability to govern the People and County and as such Public Servants are sworn to uphold the Rights of the People and Duties under the State's Constitution, and not beyond,
Based on our permissions, we demand that the Commissioners of Collier County refrain from making any "Mask-Wearing" mandates, laws, or ordinances on individuals and employers or businesses of Collier County from this date (July 12, 2020) henceforth.
It is the desire of the undersigned People to exercise their God-given Rights to CHOOSE whether or not they want to wear a mask, whether or not a mask is effective, whether or not a mask is required in a private place of business, and whether or not to be a customer of businesses or visit public spaces, beaches, parks, government buildings, private residences, etc.
The Free Will of the people and the right to privacy and medical freedoms and choices, the Right to Pursue Happiness, on a voluntary basis, as judged only by the individuals or owners of a business, should be exercised under no undue duress by other individuals or government entities, police force, or outside entities shall be the sole determining factor in whether an individual wears a mask or a business requires their customers to wear a mask.
We the People of Collier County Florida hereby present this petition to avoid any governmental intervention or mandate or law or ordinance on Mask Wearing or other requirements that inhibit or violate personal freedoms including medical freedom of choice and privacy.

Our ammendment rights needs to be protected. We the people will never be "safe" if we lose them. There is no reason to enforce masks for a cold virus with over 99.5% survival rate. We're counting on you to support our liberties and ultimately constitution. Please NO MASKS! Thank you
Please do not mandate that people wear mask. I’m a grown woman & have great common sense. I know how to maintain my distance, keep my hands away from my face & wash my hands. We have enough laws telling us what we can & can’t do already. Thank U for considering my opinion. Sara Roark
Our police officers have better things to do than enforce non-mask wearers. The mask debate has already pitted one citizen against another. A mandate will only further divide people with neighbor turning in neighbor. Worst idea ever!
It's my body my choice my health it's a hundred degrees outside in the middle of summer Naples Florida people are have trouble breathing already in the heat I will not wear one I refuse to wear when this against my constitutional rights
As someone who struggles with breathing on a day to day basis and has children with special needs I think we should not be forced to wear masks. Also, the masks cannot even filter this virus; that is like wearing a condom with holes poked in it.

I believe the mask help and that the more people that wear them the better, but the government doesn't have the right to force people to wear them. I am glad to see businesses require them, it is the business's right just like no shoes, no service. God bless and stay healthy
