Healthy children do not need masks. Healthy children build an immune system by being around each other. We should not be instilling this level of fear in children. Prolonged mask usage is dangerous for children. Immune compromised children should still be self isolating. Free the schools from these ridiculous guidelines.

This will absolutely not fly for my kids. You are not basing this in science, at best it's based on fear. At worst it's based on control. Either way, I will not have my children believing they are germ ridden disease carriers. I will not have them physically and emotionally separated from their peers and teachers.

These guidelines are INSANE and not at all based on "science" as our "leader" has tried to say. All it is, is control. Will NOT send our children to school in this environment.

Masks should not be required for the healthy. It is a suppression of our rights!

As a parent, I would like to share my concern that students should NOT be required to wear face coverings when school begins this fall. (It is bad enough that our state is forcing it on citizens now when they go into stores and public places. My family and I have visited several states without these requirements this summer. These states also have lower Covid-19 rates without the mask requirements.) We have solid research that the Covid-19 infection fatality rate in those under 18 is 0.00% per the CDC. We know that asymptomatic transmission is "very rare" and they can not identify a situation where an asymptomatic child transmitted Covid-19 to an adult (also per CDC and WHO). Combine this with multiple warnings about masks being ineffective in preventing disease transmission (the box they come in even says this) and knowledge that they increase Co2, decrease oxygen levels, cause people to touch their face more often, and increase opportunistic bacterial infections. Extra hand washing measures and hand sanitizer opportunities will help tremendously. If some families feel they are safer wearing a mask, it should be an option for them- but it should not be made into a requirement for everyone. We need to end the mask requirement for our state in general, but sending a child into an 8-hour school day unable to breathe is completely unacceptable.

Parents should be able to make a choice for their children. Masks are NOT safe and I CHOOSE for my child to be mask-free

Data shows covid is not dangerous for children. Masks should be optional. Teachers can wear face shields or masks if they are concerned.

Using masks is unhealthy. The Oxygen level is getting low when they are in use. The are not protect against the virus. My kids can’t breath with them. They have an allergy and also using glasses . My constitution giving me rights to chose what is good for my kids! Not mask! No, no,no!
