Kids should NOT have to wear a mask ALL day! This will make the situation worse, not better especially when ONLY 9 kids in my sons class. and NO more than 10 in a class period and this is K-12 Ohio, Illinois.
I will NOT enforce him to wear one all day, as this is NOT good for his immune system!

As a retired teacher I do not recommend requiring face masks for children in school. It is difficult to hear children and it inhibits communication in the classroom. Focus should be on checking temperatures, hand washing , sanitizing desks and encouraging reasonable distancing. Each child can assist in wiping down their area and desks. Individual schools/ districts should poll parents
Parents can insist that their own children wear them if they choose, but enforcement should not be the teacher's job.

I don’t think it is right to force kids to where masks. Kids are more likely to touch their face hundreds of times a day because of their mask. It will make it harder for them to pay attention in class and to understand what a teacher is saying. If a parent wants to send their child to school wearing a mask then that is their choice. It should not be forced into perfectly healtjy children.

There is no evidence masks protect from Covid-19 or any other viruses. We should not be subjecting our children to this type of social conditioning or any other social conditioning techniques. We live in a free country and we should all have a choice whether to wear something that restricts our breathing. Stop the madness now!
