We the undersigned believe that God has blessed most children with a vibrant immune system fully equipped to combat illnesses. As noted by the American Pediatric Association, “children are not significant drivers of the COVID-19 pandemic “. And as the CDC notes, “In pooled analysis, we found no significant reduction in influenza transmission with the use of face masks.” Furthermore, with a death rate of 0.04% for people under the age of 70 we believe that forcing children to wear masks for hours on end is a drastic measure that is more a reflexive action than a rational decision based on scientific data. Therefore we humbly ask for the mandatory masking of our school children to be lifted.
