It’s unhealthy for our little people that need to breathe fresh air for healthy lungs and to grow. If the children are in their bubbles like last years school year - whats the difference. They can pit them on when leaving the classroom etc.

After wearing a mask for 14 hours yesterday due to a delayed flight, I need to show my support for a choice of mask or no mask for school children and their families. By hour 5 or 6 it was tough for me as an adult to keep it on. Uncomfortable to wear all day and because of this they will be itching under them and pulling them away from their faces in any case. They are children - let them breathe.

I have had a horrible experience with school because of mask it is very difficult to breathe through and I have heard my other classmates complaints and they have had a hard time with school as well. Please don't make this new school year difficult. LET THE CHILDREN BREATHE!!!

We were never afraid about the common cold, which, by the way, could be very contagious. We humans were all gifted an immune system by God. Eat right, take Vitamins C,D and Zinc, sleep well and trust in God. We all need to go back to normal without this OCD paranoia. God himself gave us freedom, let no man take it away

No masks for children. Leave them alone and let them breathe!

Why are our basics freedoms being threatened? The choice should be ours whether we have our children wearing masks or not. If they were so effective, Covid should not be spreading like it is with mask wearing... Masking up causes respiratory illnesses plus you're breathing in your own waste.

This proposed government mask mandate for public school children is cruel in its callous disregard for the health and comfort of the children and without basis based on the current government data on illness and deaths due to Covid-19. The Bermuda government's initial strategy was based on the narrative of flattening the curve and reducing the R-number, but now it seems that no matter what the Covid-19 numbers in respect to the R-number and the vaccination rates in the population, the Bermuda government will continue to act unilaterally under non-parliamentry emergency powers acts to enact divisive compulsory mandates ike this which continue to both divide the community and disenfranchise many. Parents and children need to stand up against what is seeming more and more like tyrannical behavior from this government and its leaders.

If kids are tested weekly why would there be a need for masking? I want my child to be able to breathe without restrictions.

I agree with most of the statements above with the exception that parents consent should be required. Also, no masks should be optional in phase 4 (28 days with no cases), as individuals have different comfort levels.

I would like to complain about wearing mask first of all it is very difficult to breathe through on a day to day basis, it makes school miserable

Yes I agree. Burt and Wilson are being paid to put in place an empty narrative.
