Wearing a mask in school does literally nothing other than continually deprive of oxygen levels, collect bacteria, and break up the vapor particles into smaller pieces so they actually travel further.
If you want to follow actual science you’ll see the masks are useless. The “emotional science” says to wear masks. The data suggests no difference in schools with masks and those without.

Masks should not be mandated for any child. It should be optional. If parents want their students to wear a mask it should be their choice. NO MANDATED MASK WEARING!

Our teachers need to focus on teaching. Not policing masks. If a parent wants to send his child to school with a mask on they are free to do that. There is no reason to Mandate it. There’s too much science showing that these mask do not do anything anyway.

No masks! As a ballet teacher of many kids within the Bentonville public school system, I have watched these masks hurt the kids more than any possible sickness that rarely affects their age. Increased headaches, low breath count, weakened lungs, and incredible fatigue by the time they make it to after school ballet classes. OH! And should I mention that the kids who wear masks are the ones who call in sick way more?
To think they are even required to have them at recess and P.E. is beyond infuriating. I couldn’t imagine requiring my students to cover their nose and mouth while performing physical activity. It’s literally child abuse.
The difference between my homeschoolers who don’t have to wear them and the public schoolers who do is absolutely staggering.

Hawaii, who never dropped their masks mandate (98% compliance), are showing the highest COVID numbers in the last 2 years. Putting masks as the one thing that stops spread is dangerous. It is also important to note that Hawaii is one of the most vaccinated state in the country, at almost an 80% vaccinated rate. Parents know their kids better than school boards, and mandates take this away. Please leave this as a personal choice.
