I do not want anymore medical control from our government. I believe that It is not the government’s job to protect our health, but that it is our individual responsibility; It is government’s job to protect our rights. I ask that you take a moment to think back to our forefathers of our nation and re-read the Preamble of the U.S Constitution and the purposes for adopting the Constitution — to “establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity”.
I ask you to stand strong against state mandates on masks and vaccines. I ask that there is no more shutting down businesses, no more mandatory masking of adults and/or children, and no more pressure to vaccinate. We the people, are capable of making our own health decisions, and we have that right!

There is entirely too much evidence against the effectiveness of masks, especially in children, for continued masking to even be considered a possibility. It is cruel and damaging to cover children’s faces for hours a day with no efficacy to show for it. This is not only the right of the parents to decide for their children, it is also the only way to vote that removes the school board from the midst of the argument.
I would suggest that if the amount of students being out of school is the concern, that the quarantine guidelines be revised. Now that we know that asymptomatic spread is approximately nil, unless children are actively displaying symptoms and ill, there is no sense in quarantining healthy children and forcing them to miss school.
