Please erect a statue in his memory with knife in hand.

Why did they choose to remember a criminal instead of the officers who have been killed in the line of duty?

Where is concern for the people this criminal has victimized? You want to remember Mario Woods, then remember NOT to be a criminal and challenge the police with a knife!

There is absolutely no way we need to haverify a remembrance day for a person who stabbed another and then was shot with lethal force. Most people who get remembrance days did something positive in the community. Don't get me wrong I'm sorry a young man lost his life, but from the FACTS and I emphasize FACTS he is no where near being a saint.

Thank you for this. I am going to share it. I have to be the voice for my brother Jimmy. Even though he has been gone for 35 years it still hurt. I am so angry about it.

Dear SF Board of Supervisors... Why stop there? Let's rename a high school or a major street after Mario Woods too. Also, mind as well do an "OJ Simpson Day!" Since the Super Bowl is around the corner. NUTS!!!!

A Remembrance Day for a habitual offender, ridiculous.

While I support some racial injustice the cops aren't the ones doing it. He was a convicted felon that was being arrested for attempted murder. Just drop the knife when the cops tell you too.
