ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! ID BE DAMNED IF MY HUSBAND DIES IN THE LINE OF DUTY TONIGHT, AND THE FUCKING THUG THAT KILLS HIM GETS TO BE REMEMBERED AND HONORED! THIS IS A DISGRACE TO EVERY HUMAN, EVERY MAN, WOMAN, AND THE FAMILIES THAT HAVE LOVED ONES AND SIGNIFICANT OTHERS THAT PUT THIER LOVES ON THE LINE EVERY DAMN DAY FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT CARE. THE SAME PEOPLE THAT KILL THEIR OWN, THE SAME THAT DEAL DRUGS, THE SAME THAT SAY "FUCK DA POLICE" YET, CALL THEM WHEN THEY NEED THEM! THIS ISNT AMERICA ANYMORE. THIS IS THE MOST ASS BACKWARDS COUNTRY ANYMORE. DISGUSTING!! FROM THE WIFE OF A 13year police officer and a 5 year ARMY VETERAN THAT WAS BLOWN UP IN IRAQ FIGHTING FOR THIS BULLSHIT COUNTRY THAT COULD GIVE TWO SHITS ABOUT HIS LIFE!

Scott Lunger was a hero. I cannot believe honoring this criminal is being considered whatsoever.

PLEASE CHANGE THIS!! My brother in law Scott Lunger DOES NOT have a day of remeberance and he gave his very life to protect us! This is a inhuman disgrace to our family!

This is absolute insanity! This is exactly what is wrong with this country. We honor the scum instead of the REAL heroes! Shame on you San Francisco!

You people are crazy. You choose to honor a career criminal, felon and cop killer instead of honoring the guy who gave his life protecting you idiots from dirtbags like him. Really?

We don't honor criminals and felons. We honor heroes which this person, Mario Woods most definitely is not.

Honor a hero, not a criminal.

Please reconsider naming a day of rememberance after a career criminal who was committing acts of violence at the time of his death. Respectfully, Michael McCoy

If the SF Board of Supervisors is in favor of this shameful remembrance day then they should all be recalled.

Next they will honor the 19 hijackers. This is a joke. He is a felon who died while committing a felony. Politics has truly gone too far.

This is an insult to your constituents to honor a criminal not to mention on the day which is the anniversary of the officer killed in Hayward.
