A substantial stain on our city and the good citizens, this must be reversed. We don't honor thieves, criminals and or gang members, period.

Attach his rap sheet to the day of remembrance and broadcast it from the steps of City Hall every year.

This action defiles those law-abiding citizens who took action for a greater good and received a day of recognition.

This individual deserves absolutely no recognition for his life nor his actions. He chose to live outside of societies ethos. He should not be remembered by society

A "Remembrance Day" should be reserved for a person like Harvey Milk, not a criminal such as this. An action promoting this type of person would be a stain on San Francisco's name.

This is not right!!!!!' Take care of the people that actually work to protect San Francisco ! Absolutely no Mario Woods day, that is so WRONG!

This is a slap in the face to law enforcement. I hop every single Supervisor gets voted out of office.

There should be no reward for criminal behavior. The facts show that this violent criminal was shot and killed within the context of proper law enforcement.

Another really awful idea from David Campos and Co. Maybe we should honor people who actually do good in the community instead of those who tragically die while preying on the community with violent criminal behavior...just a thought.

Remember Victims, not violent criminals.

He was a criminal. Granted the police are out of control, but that doesn't justify a day to remember a criminal.

What a disgrace and insult to all that have lost their lives in the line of duty! Whether it be police officers, firefighters, military soldiers, etc....all of these people deserve a "Remembrance Day"...NOT someone like Mario Woods!
