This is an insult to every Police Officer in this country. Does NOT deserve a day of remembrance.

Board of Super has sunk to a new low that I didn't think capable from this life long San Franciscan. This is disgraceful and you should be ashamed.

BoS is out of control!!!! A bunch of none San Franciscans who will ruin this proud city.... They chase away the US Navy and the 49ers, brought hundreds of homeless folks to our city. They try to control the fire department, muni, and police dept but they never fought a fire, drove a bus, or walked a beat in their life. They all need to join Chris Daly in Fairfield. Notice his political career is over

This is a wall of shame. We certainly should have a day of remembrance for mentally ill people killed by the police. The police are not judge, jury, and executioner.

No criminal, especially one who just stabbed someone get a special day. If anything, the police officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect law abiding citizens should have a day to honor them. What the SF supervisors is asinine.

SF Supervisors, you should be ashamed of yourselves. While you call on Police and Sheriffs to protect you at work and home and then stab them in the back for a criminal who "JUST" stabbed someone prior to being shot. What a disgrace of a public office!

I knew Mario and he was a very nice gentleman he nor his family did not deserve to loose him to this senseless act. That they sfpd say they feared for they life. God don't like ugly and he is not keen to pretty Mario Woods deserves his day. It's only right!

There should be no honor given to this man. If I stab someone, then taunts the police to shoot me as I approach them with a knife, will you give me a Mike Robison day ?

That's right! Let's praise and celebtate the ones who committed crimes!! Only in San Francisco. NO NO NO on these kind of nonsense! SF Board of Supervisors, you don't have anything better to do?!

The SF BOS are the most misguided tree hugging POS that I can imagine on this earth. I hope that they have a family member become a victim of violent crime and then see if they want a day of rememberance of the perp!
