As a native San Franciscan who still lives in this city, I'm embarrassed and appalled by the Board of Supervisors' actions.

Being a born and raised 3rd generation San Franciscan I find this completely offensive. What's happening to our city!

Day of remembrance for the fallen police and fire dept members before a day for Mario Woods. People that contribute get acknowledgement. People that terrorize don't.

Join a gang, get convicted of a robbery, go to prison, get out, stab a stranger, and commit suicide by cop... Mario Woods is not worth remembering.

Maybe we should remember who Mario Woods really was. I am sorry that he was killed. Had he dropped that stupid knife with which he had attacked an innocent person he would still be alive. Maybe if he had not been so drugged out he would have. Would have, could have, not good enough for a Remembrance Day, even in San Francisco.

I'm sorry but I cannot support this. People it's simple if the cops tell you to put your hands up and drop you weapon. Do
it. Because they will shoot you.

Create days to honor the fallen and wounded police men who risk their lives everyday to keep you safe.

Police officers are worthy of remembrances, career criminals are not worthy. Remember SF Board of Supervisors, you are elected, and can be removed! Fix this wrong doing.

I'm sorry this young man was killed, but honoring someone who was killed while brandishing a knife and moving aggressively towards police officers is just wrong.
