What a horrible thing to do. Glorify a convicted criminal who runs around stabbing people. So sad.

People in my family don't go around stabbing people. They are law abiding citizens who do what police officers tell them. Coincidentally none of them have been shot by the police.

This is an embarrassment to the city to have done this and it needs to be corrected. Let's honor our men and women in blue who save lives, including the victim of Woods, NOT Woods.

It seems the supervisors are just following suit with current social trends . There are many men and women much more deserved of this honor, and it makes the honor a joke by giving it to a criminal. I support the men and women of the Police dept for dealing with the tough times they face being judged by the influenced masses.

This is for my family and friends who work in law enforcement. They risk their lives on a daily basis working the most thankless job ever.

4 out of the 5 cops who fired on Mario Woods were minorities but you make it about race? Woods had stabbed someone before the police arrived but you want to talk about excessive force? Woods was a convicted felon with a charge of armed robbery but you want to talk about peace and love? You aren't making much sense...

Honoring Mario Woods is insane. He was a criminal with a weapon who injured someone, not a victim or a hero. I lived and worked in San Francisco for more than 30 years, and this just breaks my heart.

I live in the city and will NOT be voting for any supervisor who supported this for the rest of their political career; in San Francisco or elsewhere.
