So many people deserve to be honored....let's pick someone who served our country, who spent their life making things better for others, who fought for those who couldn't fight for themselves.

Do not honor criminals. Honor true American heros, innovators and people who truly help others. Creating days Honoring people like this, cheapens the "honor.

If you dont put your hands above your head and drop the knife you are flashing because you think you are invincible, you get what you deserve. Too many people these days think they are above law enforcement, when if they had a knife pulled on them, who will they call?? Probably the police! Idiots!!

We should not be celebrating criminals, especially when we have to fight to get our heroes recognized.

This is absurd. NO thug should have any kind of remembrance day. Here's an idea...REMEMBER THOSE THAT SAVE PEOPLE FROM THESE THUGS.

It is unacceptable to teach children/young adults that if they disobey the law and refuse to listen to orders from a police officer that they will get a special day! This is what is wrong with the world today! Those who protect us are worth less than those who break the law and endanger everyone!

A slap in the face to all law enforcement officers and victims that have lost their lives to suspects.

This is completely ridiculous I bet these supervisor's would feel differently if he would've sliced them or someone they knew.

What message do you send when you honor criminal behavior? Answer...more criminal behavior!

Why? How about a day for a child who died of cancer, a police or firefighter? Why on earth would you consider this? What kind of message are you sending to law abiding citizens? What is wrong with you for considering this?
