There should be no day dedicated to a criminal thug. It is unfortuante Mario has passed on, however this is no situation for a specially dedicated day.

Create a Day of Remembrance for a real hero; a fallen police officer, or a firefighter, not a convicted felon who had just committed yet another felony! Who ever heard of such a waste of taxpayer dollars!

Brave police officers get murdered EVERY day, yet they have no day. And the person this dirtbag stabbed has no special day or even a casual mention. I am embarrassed for these jack asses. Stop the foolishness-unless we have a day for all the brave souls who give their lives as police officers, no day for dirtbags who try to kill them.

If you honor a criminal even with mental issues you're giving the power to the wrong person We should honor the police office who have such a difficult job and put there lives in danger with being under a microscope

San Francisco's Board of Supervisors has disgraced the memory of every Dedicated Police Officer that sacrificed their life protecting all of us. They should be recalled from office, they don't deserve the privilege of serving all of the citizens of San Francisco.

Public honors are for people who CONTRIBUTE to society in a positive way, not for violent felons.
The blood of Mario is on the hands of the Police Commision, specifically Petra DeJesus. YOUR FAULT for not giving the appropriate tools to the police.
Dear Board of Supervisors.....COWARDS!
