Life has consequences. Mr. Woods has the peace he didn't have. Let us remember consequences.

All BOS and Mayor should resign over this. How can any of them not? This is the latest, in a nonstop useless, daily attempt to due the WRONG THING every time.

When people ask why I hate living in San Francisco, this is my shortest answer.

As a lifelong resident of San Francisco I think this is the most disgusting and dispicable act event committed by a group of politicians. This is a dishonor to all lawful citizens and law enforcing officers. It is insulting to the hard working immigrants who helped build this city to a great metropolitan treasure. Now, with thugs, liberals and homeless, it has all been torn down. What is left to cherish about our city? Clearly, the BOS is not thinking clearly when the families of Kate Steinly and the Bolognas are completely ignored. "Drop the knife" should be the credo. That is what our voice says in unity. Regardless of what folks like "Beyond Say" feel.

Please honor our first responders not criminals.

Don't honor a thug who was going after police with a weapon. It sends the wrong message and glories a criminal.

There are good cops and bad cops. I've been profiled and face down for no reason many times, however I learned to stop actin like a hoodlum and found I am profiled less (even though I fit the stereotype). Police did exactly what theyre trained to do...protect us from a threat, who just stabbed someone (why dont we hear about the real victim on the liberally biased news?) And would not put his weapon down and continued to be a threat. However, the man in Minnesota that was legally carrying a firearm DID NOT deserve to be shot! All others were threats and BLM would have my support if they were defending innocent lives!

Born in SF at Mt. Zion hospital. Perhaps a day for victims of crime like the person that Mario stabbed?

Mario Woods was an armed thug. Why the hell are people proposing a day to remember this piece of human garbage? Ed Lee and the BOS need to GO. Bring back Suhr.

Horrible precedent you're setting by honoring this criminal. You should be ashamed of yourselves for even considering this.
