As a public school teacher, I am very disappointed that the BCTF is in favour of forced vaccinations for all staff. We know by now that this vaccine is not a one size fits all. There have been adverse reactions to every brand of covid vaccine for different age groups, and it is unlawful to force staff to take a vaccine they are not comfortable with especially when there is no liability for injury from both the vaccine companies and our union.

The Canadian Charter of Rights states that immunization is NOT mandatory in Canada. Vaccine mandates are illegal.
