We need to stop looking for new taxes and see how we can collect on the already existing. And stop creating new taxes with unrealistic returns so you don't have to come back and add even more pressure to you're shrinking working middle class. May I add that a weak middle class is an indicator you're doing something wrong.
This is taxing our savings. They already tax our profits. Now they will be monitoring our spending habits through the banks ID system. This is not a solution for our problems!
Completley misguided economic policy that will only hurt a struggling country financially. This benefits no one (not even the government it's inteded to benefit) while universally hurting the poor, middle class, wealthy, the individual, the small business, and even the large corporation.
This is wrong. This is wickedness. I can hardly manage to stay afloat. My business has lost 2/3 of its based and I still have the same fixed expenses. What more can I do? Rob, and steal? This new tax must be rolled back forthwith.
Your pay is taxed before it goes to the bank, to deposit money, there's a fee, to withdraw money there's also a fee - but from the bank...now! Here comes...this! Additional fees to withdraw.

jamaicans are inundated with taxes andthe country has nothing to show for it but a significant poverty level, roads filled with craters, roads in need of lighting, underpaid govt workers etc etc etc werent our taxes recently increased wuth us seeing an increase in cost of chicken etc? jamaicans need to take a stand if they tax atm withdrawals there must be a feasible alternative with our overcrowded banks and no time provided during the work day there is no other real option. our funds are already significantly taxed in the banks! how many people have received salary increases yet pricebof living is significantly increased no wonder theres so much crime! politicians need a pay cut this will no doubt help our country

33 1/3 at source, 16 1/2 at GCT the only country where the taxpayer pays to import and to consume goods.NO TO LEVIES ON WITHDRAWALS OF THE SAVINGS AFTER ALL THE TAXES.
