We love our open space. The area cannot withstand hundreds of more people without sacrificing the beauty of nature.

It is important to myself and family that this area remain low density or open space and not be annexed by the city of boulder.

I am NOT in FAVOR of the City annexing County open space in Gunbarrel or changing zoning to allow high density housing in Twin Lakes area

The only solution to slow Boulder's growth is to stop building new housing every year.

Gunbarrel is rapidly filling in with some hideous developments. Leave the lake area alone. It's actually lovely. Why choke it to death? Plus it's a wildlife area, I thought Boulder County liked wildlife areas. Guess they like property taxes better.

Please protect the open space next to Twin Lakes, the wildlife needs the space and the area already experiences serious water issues due to the 2013 flood. Additional development will cause more flooding issues for residences already present.

Don't set a statewide precedent for flagpole annexation through open space. These are beautiful meadow parcels that serve as a wildlife corridor and for recreational use, surrounded by designated open space on two sides-- connect them all! The city of Boulder should infill under-used land, such as the Iris shopping center, which is on bus lines to boot.

Please, please please don't put high density housing on these parcels! I am one of the countless who enjoy seeing the nesting owls here! A beautiful walkway exists! Don't destroy our neighborhood!!! King Soopers area is a blight! We want our neighborhood to include the wildlife! Add trails. Don't build! Protect the open spaces that we have voted again and again to protect! Stop building everywhere!!!! Leave close in country alone! We already have to suffer unbelievable traffic!!!! I have been here 40 years and should have some voice here!!!!

Additional development of the Twin Lakes area is a bad idea, and I am very against the city annexing county open space in order to complete the proposed project.

I often walk around the twin lakes. It's a little haven. There are many, many other building sites that would suit the needs of the builders without taking out a unique little corner off the country. Does Boulder's growth have to bulldoze through beautiful areas liked this?

Protect what little nature we have in the area!

I've grown up in this neighborhood. We would go on walks at Twin Lakes before the paths were developed and only DIY bridges stood. Lots of memories and several dogs through the years have ran in these fields. The loss of wildlife and impact on the environment hurts my heart

Boulder area is seriously overcrowded. at one point Boulder was very concerned about overpopulation damaging the quality of citizens lives. now it seems money is talking. keep gunbarrel open and unannexed.

Don't sell our open space. We bought it for open space not development.

The Gunbarrel area is home to one of the most diverse bird populations in the front range of Colorado. Let's keep it this way. John McGannon

This plan is horrible. Destruction of wildlife Habitat. Boulder boasts of it's desire to preserve land and wildlife. Our City council and County Commissioners should be recalled. We need to let these elected officials with whom we placed our trust that we will take action.
