The proposed annexation and development ignores the high-groundwater hydrology onsite and also violates multiple commitments in the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan. These parcels should remain undeveloped rural-residential land in Boulder County.

Please do not use these fields for high density development. We chose to live in a rural area when we moved out here. Please do not change the character of our neighborhood.

I oppose the proposed upzoning of these 3 properties because their best use would be to expand the Twin Lakes Open Space! The 6655 Twin Lakes Rd. property is adjacent to the Open Space and has been passively used for recreation by the local community for well over twenty years. Upzoning this property and building up to 180 units will drastically change the character of the neighborhood and create many negative impacts such as over density, noise, traffic congestion, likely infrastructure failures and crime. The upzoning and high-density development is being pushed through without analysis of the benefits of these properties expanding the Twin Lakes Open Space and without completing any studies for hydrology or soil impacts which may cause flooding. The local Gunbarrel community feels their concerns are being totally ignored.

Green space is a must, not only in urban areas, but also suburban areas.

Destroying the green space will lower the value of the neighborhood while taking away the homes of local wild life.

Someone needs to speak for the wildlife. The wildlife have established their homes around the Twin Lakes area. Do not make them homeless.
