Children should not be housed with adult offenders! They need rehabilitation not a crash course in how to stay in the system.

Our society has reached one of its lowest points when government officials will send children to prisons for profit.

Gov. Edwards, Are you a Christian? For God's sake and the sake of the kids, DO NOT move them to Angola's former death row! There MUST be a better solution. Have a heart, Sir!

This is horrifying and repugnant. This governor has lost all sense of decency and humanity - what a disgrace.

Louisiana is known for a terrible "justice" system. NO child should ever be incarcerated in Angola. It will destroy them.

Cannot understand how any responsible adult can support moving juveniles whose minds are still developing & who are extremely impressionable to a maximum security adult prison. Regardless of any financial rewards such a move MAY create, supporters cannot mask the racist motives that are behind such a move. There are millions of voting citizens throughout the nation who understand what is behind such a move and we raise our collective voices with a powerful "NO, NOT ON OUR WATCH!"

This is just plain wrong and unChristian. Please do not send people under the age of majority to this prison.

Angola is no place for children. This is to be expected of a country like Iran, Afghanistan or even North Korea.

I GUESS YOU'RE TRYING TO MAKE SURE THESE KIDS STAY CRIMINALS. DISGUSTING!

Just when you thought that Louisiana couldn't become more of a horror show somehow they find a way. Rather than sending children to Angola they should close it.

Human kind should raise above torture and harm to its own kind…we are no longer in the Middle Ages!
