STOP THIS INJUSTICE NOW! No children (nor adult) should be subjected to Angola Prison's horrors.

Children do not belong in prisons-focus on a child's development, not on punishing them

Kids should not be sent to Adult Prison, and treated like criminals. They need school and education to be better human beings, not jails.

Justice reinvestment initiatives such as Maranguka in Bourke have been proven to be much more effective and much less expensive than prison.

Kids have no business being in Angola! More trauma doesn’t help these children learn to regulate their emotions and behavior. Please do better so they can do better!

Putting kids in these conditions is unconscionable and should be considered a human rights violation. Do not move forward with this decision.

The system must not continue this cycle of hurting minorities and people of lower economic status. Children/teens/young adults can be rehabilitated. Rehab, counseling, education, guidance, support, life skills, work ethic are they resources people need to improve. Time for changes in the justice system.

Do send these kids to angola. Edwards, meet with kids and get to know them. Trust that they're troubled and NEED help, not punishment.

This is a prime example of systemic racism. Look at the numerical data, it doesn't require much reading ability to see that Black youth are being recycled into America's original history through a lack of regard for their well-being just like any Child sent from Heaven by God himself... Empathy
