I was reading through all the messages people are leaving and it is just wild how many of you have had the exact same frustrating run-ins with this system. It feels like we are finally pulling the curtain back on how they actually operate behind the scenes because the amount of stories I am seeing is just overwhelming in the best way possible. I am looking into how we can get this file in front of someone in the legislature who actually wants to listen for once.

Compared to other provinces and countries, ICBC insurance rates are extortionist and unsustainable burden on households. Such an insurance arrangement can survive an age of transparency and competition is unbelievable.
No for profit company should have the amount of control that icbc has, especially when it's been proven time and time again that it's not being properly monitored to be in the interest of the people by the government, a student shouldn't be labeled a danger to public safety and have their license suspended just because their L fell off, and it certainly shouldn't take them 2 months to send the letter telling them of the suspension!
ICBC are financially corrupt regarding pay scale to CEO and their staff 35.00 hour and benefits more than any other insurance company in North America . They need to be accountable as tax payers transparency is a must . The word PRIVATIZATION will be the new norm or it will become bankrupt as our province . Glenn Trewella

People in BC are not free! They do not prey to Got but to Icbc to have mercy for them. Shame on BC government!!!

I am outraged ICBC had again increased the yearly rates November 1, 2017. I’m one of the unfortunate groups that their IBC renewal in November! I lived in Ontario and Alberta and they have private insurance you have an option to shop around and have a choice! ICBC takes the entire province and groups everyone in the same category. I do not drive the Coquihalla highway or any other highway road. Simply pleasure Driving in Kelowna and in the summer weather to Penticton. I want them to get rid of BC Utilies being in charge and have private insurance of MY CHOISE! Theresa L. Cole
