Middle and High schools should not be moved from our community to Ashburn. That's too far for our kids.

Just moved from a situation like this where we were bused past several high schools and middle schools to get to ours. This is not the best option for certain.

I make this drive (option3) every day from home to work & back. Due to the single lane on Evergreen mills, it takes me nearly 1 hour from Va Manor to Ashburn ( Loudoun Station). While the opening of the LoCo Pkwy extension is much anticipated and should help in some way to dissipate the traffic, I am still concerned. We researched our subdivision and ultimately purchased our "forever home" so that our 3 little ones would be able to walk to BTES and we would be able to support them in as many school functions as we can. Our kids are 6,3, and 1 and we planned to go to BTES for the next 9 years. I can't imagine having to drive or bus 3 little ones in 3 different places. I encourage each and every school board member to take the drive so you know exactly what you are voting for. It would be ignorant and naive to vote on something you have not experience first hand and are just guessing on. Option 3 should never have been an "option" on the table. Thank you.

I/we pay to much in taxes/business/personal taxes etc for my kids to go to school 45 mins from my house because there is not enough schools to houses children etc. Loudoun needs to meet with Fairfax or another well run school district and straiten this mess out. They have no clue what to do with our tax revenue. Build more schools and build them fast. Go meet with an established well run system like Fairfax and learn how they did it and what mistakes they made and how they addressed them. Hell take them to lunch and take notes. There is plenty of contractors that can do school construction very swiftly in this day and age. And as far as permit delays its LC get it done!!! This is embarrassing. I also think the builders need to be held more accountable. Put a freeze in these areas on the builders until they help fund/construct these schools and catch up to the demand. Thats right not one more home until the school situation is fixed. No more new construction permits in this region until the schools are done. We will have the schools ready for 2017 fall back to school I guarantee it if you did this. These builders NV/Ryan Toll Brothers etc. come in throw a bunch of homes up make a fortune and roll out. They need to feel the pressure. Someone in LC government is getting greased. Its time we get somebody on this with the backbone to get this done. I have my sales brochures from NV/Ryan homes with the schools that are close to where we bought and were told our kids would go to and sold on. They need to be held accountable as well. Getting sick of the BS and blame game.

Please do not split up our family and friends from attending the schools within our current boundaries and are within a few minute drive from our hom. Part of the reason we moved to Virginia Manor was the promiximity of the school to our neighborhood.

I'm not going to go all the way to Ashburn just for school unless it is for a good reason.I have friends at Mercer Middle school I don't want to lose the friendship with them because I can't see them anymore so just change it for all the good kids with friend
