If they are travellers, let them travel. If they are to have a site let it be away from residential areas.

Absolutely disgusting that money is being spent making these camps when they cause nothing but trouble and make filth everywhere. Schools budgets are being cut everywhere along with massive cuts in NHS yet wasting yet more money on these people that cost the country already thousands cleaning up the mess they leave behind!

This is a very shortsighted easy option fix approach to a government level problem ,Llay is already reeling from the impact of several hundred new houses being built within its boundaries and on its green belt surrounds with no infrastructure in terms of traffic measures ,shops ,schooling or GP surgery to support the influx of populace, to then exacerbate the issue with yet more people on one of its few remaining green boundaries, fails to consider the impact on the overall quality of life and community bonding and also the not inconsiderable impact on the beautiful wooded and river areas of Ponty Capel that will no doubt suffer ,sadly the travelling community has proven on a number of occasions, not least after their recent past in Llay, that they have very little respect for rules, regulations, wildlife or common decency and will have a massive detrimental effect on the village and its populace

We don't want gypsies in Llay, had enough of them last time they were here. What about the rights of the villagers who actually pay council tax.
No more
