This is a Fair Petition and Right PETITION !!.We can not stand here and let Government Run Over Us.
This Is a Money Grab and Someone Pockets Will Come Out On Top !. The State of Florida has mandated sewers, Taken land , and also the Tax Rolls on property that would be collecting by Monroe Country.
They Limit the land rights and let not forget the Federal Government , Including Monroe Country.!!!

I live in Cut throat estates on Cudjoe Key. I do not want a grinder pump on my property. It will be nothing but trouble for me as well as the other neighbors. Use some common spence.

A gravity system would be preferred for my neighborhood in Little Torch Key (Torch Key Estates) off SR4. There are a small number of homes, and we would prefer a couple of central pumps off our property that could serve 2 to 4 homes each (if gravity is not possible). I am not comfortable with grinder pumps in my yard.
Our property flooded during hurricane Wilma, and grinder pumps would not survive a storm like that- not to mention the fact that a prolonged power outage would result in a mess that could let raw sewage into the ecosystem when pump is inoperable. I think we need environmental folks to weigh in on this. Grinder pumps are a just a bad idea for the Keys.

The County Commissioners are irresponsible for going with the cheapest method rather than doing their constituents right. This is discrimination at its worst.

Environmetal impact will be unknown as small diameter pressurized sewage crack over time and pump raw sewage underground. That alone makes grinder pumps a terrible idea for the Florida Keys.

Anything mechanical will cause more complication and cost over the long run, than a simple gravity pipe. This is not rocket science. I have worked on similar systems aboard ships and they are a constant maintenance problem! No Grinder Pumps!

In the long run grinder pumps are not the most effective solution. I don't want this on my property. Gravity sewer connections are less expensive and work better.
