It would be okay for graduation to be in the gym if we had enough room for everyone. Since we've had graduation in the gym the people on the very end of the bleachers are so far to the side that they can't even see what is going on on stage. If family members are late to graduation they might lose their seats and end up having to watch you graduate from a screen in the auditorium. What is even the point of going to see you graduate if they don't even get to see it live and in person? There should not be a limit to the amount of family members or significant people in your life that can come to see you graduate. If you agree that graduation should no longer and never again be held in the Central Columbia High School Gym please sign this petition!

You guys do understand that no matter where you take graduation you will always have limited seats. Not only that if you want graduation at BU all your doing is following BU's cookie cutter system of how they do graduation they don't alow personalization. We started graduation at our gymnasium only last year and keep in mind it's not gonna be perfect the first time. I won't sign the petition due to the fact it's to early to lay judgement on the system at hand. Believe me I understand the frustration of the situation but this is our chance as a school to be able to start a new tradition that we can improve on as generations go by. All I'm saying is give the administration a chance and lay out suggestions not demand actions.

The Gym is perfectly fine! If we have it at BU that will cost our district money that we do not have due to our beautiful renovation to the HS. The Gym was designed with graduation in mind and there are plenty of seats for family and friends! Stop complaining, this is ridiculous!
BU would be more appropriate for this special night!
I'm doing it because we need more Frank Sinatra in this world.

Do you not understand that it is 100% more comfortable for everyone involved to be in an auditorium? Do you also understand there are more seats in Haas auditorium? I am fine with change and I would be okay with this if there was enough room for everyone. I have multiple friends with families of six siblings alone and they're limiting the tickets. Graduation is a milestone in everyone's life, wouldn't you want your whole family to come?
