Reaching this level of support feels like a heavy weight being lifted because it proves I am not the only one fighting this battle. It has been an exhausting road so far but knowing that so many of you feel this same frustration gives me the stamina to keep pushing forward.

Don´t make it a reboot and ignore the first two films. I am fine with the woman idea in the film, but please keep at least Dan Aykroyd in it and build the story in some way on the other two films. Keep the car and the firehouse.
i will never watch a Ghostbusters film without the original cast, especially one with Melissa Mcarthy.
If it has nothing to do with the original movies it should not be called Ghostbusters, period, end of discussion. Find a new title and a new concept instead of "reimagining" and potentialy ruining a classic like Ghosbusters.
If you wanna reboot, forget it. If you wanna make a sequel and have zero idea, do an Extreme Ghostbusters adaptation. Is this that hard ?
all female new cast is fine, just make it a passing of the torch instead of reboot. Aubrey Plaza as Kylie, and use the IDW graphic novel the new ghostbusters as inspiration.

There is only one true Ghostbusters franchise and that is the original! Under no circumstances should an abomination such as this reboot be made ever.

Has a reboot ever been proven to be just as good or better than the original? Why destroy a legacy in one fowl swoop for the bottom line of more money and franchise when its better well left alone to be remembered as it was, untarnished? For shame, Feig. For shame.
