2006 alum here. Terrible idea. BOTS and Beats wtf terrible name is that anyway?! I know Berklee wants to be at the forefront, but this isn't the way.

I am a Berklee alumna and I demand that this college or University, remains a school and that it relies on Real Teachers/Professors for all the Teachings

I do not support Suno or its illegitimate and counterfeit practices. This does not coincide with Berklee's standards and ethics in my opinion.

I have degrees from both the Indiana University’s Jacob, School of Music and Berkeley College of Music and there is no place in either one of these schools for AI generated music . Maybe studied as one would study the, Art of War”, but not to be taught as a way to create music.

An institution such as Berklee should be in the forefront fighting for all artist's IP protection and legal framework that protect our already beat up profession. Sever all ties to AI platforms that steal from creators, stop feeding the machine.
