Facilities like these near schools where tobacco and alcohol are readily available become a magnet for young underage students as well as drug dealers looking for new customers. There are sufficient gas stations and convenience stores around us. In my opinion this is a no vote.

We definitely don't want a gas station outside Sterling on the Lake. We don't need all the crime and increased traffic right there plus 2 drive thru restaurants. We have so so many near us already and that just adds to the congestion and traffic! Plus we have 4 gas station within 3 miles of us already. Don't need any more!

The listed objections relating to proximity to high school are well stated. In addition there are several multi pump stations within a few miles.another one is not needed .

I agree with all the reasons in the petition above for NOT having this business in the proposed area. These kinds of businesses tend to bring a decline to the surrounding area. This type of a business does not belong in the proposed area.

Beer and wine will be sold at the convenience store. This is too close to a high school. The proximity definitely increases the opportunity for under age students to have access to the alcohol. We want intelligent, quality planning from Hall County Planning Commission. Cluster businesses near commercial districts and not in the midst of residential regions.

This is unwanted in our community with a concern for crime and increased traffic.

Please do not approve a commercial business like a gas station or any other 24 hour business near the entrance to Sterling on the Laje.

The proposed development would dramatically change the character of our predominantly residential & educational (school & library) area of Spout Sorings. There are multiple fast food & gasoline outlets five minutes away in both directions. So we’re not in an underserved area re those types of services. Also, in my opinion, our students at the nearby schools would especially be put at risk, as highlighted in other comments. All told, the development would notably negatively impact SOTL quality of life & our property values.

I believe a better solution can be achieved to develop this property instead of the present proposed one.
