Please, not another building or complex on Blake Lane. Why are we giving up green space for one more traffic jam? There are several schools in the area, but not nearly enough parks. Please mark me as totally opposed to a new school or any other building and please mark me as pro for keeping the park just as it is, or if needed, improve the park as a park. Thank you.

Blake Lane Park and Dog Park is a vital green space that is treasured by area residents. It breeds civic mindedness as
It attracts scout troops planting , volunteers pruning and clearing out brush. Various birds, owls, deer fox roam the space .Playing field for sport teams, kite and modelAirplane flying, area.
I have spoken to dog owners who have driven from Fairfax city with their dogs.
In a densely populated kids and dogs,
Many town houses, condos have no yards
To run and romp.

We enjoy the dog park and the opportunity to meet with other gamers there. The ongoing need to maintain green spaces for our children, for the environment (bee habitat and rain gardens to slow water run off) are essential in an area e.g. Fairfax County where development continues much too rapidly with hard surfaces which exacerbate storm water run off and a decline in healthy habitats for wildlife. Thank you for considering a transfer to FCPA
