The inmate noted on this petition is Miguel Contreras TDCJ #01155042. Miguel has used various other names to evade the justice system and abused/misused his membership as a Soldier of the United States Army to perpetrate multiple heinous sexual crimes against innocent children ranging from the age of five to fifteen to include:
- Aggravated sexual assault of a child
- Indecency with a child
- Kidnapping of a child... (Just to name a few and spare you of details)
If released, the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole will only be granting Miguel the opportunity to disgrace more innocent girls. This man has been a registered Sex Offender since 1998; and is a repeat offender with a laundry list of additional charges that somehow were never brought to light.
We are deeply concerned that based on a promise of good behavior, he could be granted release. Miguel is a REPEAT offender. DO NOT set this man free!
The crimes he has committed weigh heavy on the fact that sexual offenders statistically and repeatedly victimize those whom are either a family member, friend, intimate partner or acquaintance. Individuals such as Miguel, always find a way to fulfill their needs. He is a great danger to society and has proven himself to be a threat. Anyone capable of repeatedly perpetrating crimes of this nature must serve their just sentence in its entirety.
Please think of all the children that he will victimize if released.
We strongly urge that parole not be considered, and future parole reviews taken off the current parole review schedule. We humbly ask that you consider the victims that have experienced such traumatic events and the extended negative effect his release will have on their lives.
As citizens, we have the social responsibility to give something back to our community rather than taking it. Miguel has clearly taken away from the sanctity and spirit of his victims and their families. We ask that the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole members place themselves in our shoes, and please consider the safety of our families when making a decision.

I honestly did not think this would gain this much steam but here we are and it makes me sick that he even has a chance at parole. Reading through the comments left by people who feel just as disgusted as I do has been a lot to process today but it really shows that we are not going to look the other way while he tries to walk free.

No man who has done so much harm to so many females should be free to commit more of these heinous crimes.
Whole heartedly support keeping people like this locked up and away from innocent children. Request to sign anonymously.
Miguel must be incarcerated for as long as his sentence dictates. For life. I truly hope that the members of the Board of Pardons and Parole will make the best decision to protect the innocence of all children and their families.
DONT LET HIM OUT. HE IS A DANGER TO EVERY CHILD IN TEXAS. KEEP HIM LOCKED UP FOR GOOD!!!!!
Keep this monster behind bars where he belongs. My kids deserve to be safe and he has proven he will never change.
