It just shouldn't be done. The damage they could do could bring down more than just the tower. Plus it would destroy a beautiful sight.

No fracking in the Blackburn with Darwen area. It's already being dug up enough not to mention the fact that the water supply will be contaminated yet again and there isn't a sufficient back up plan in place to solve this problem of water contamination!

The majority of people don't want this. The government has no right to go against public opinion. You serve the people of the uk, not the other way around. Fracking ruins the environment, countryside, wildlife and who knows what other serious effects it could have in years to come.

I have lived in Darwen for my whole life, and fracking is going to completely ruin my home. The start of fracking near Blackpool caused minor earthquakes, and I don't want my home, or anywhere else, to be subject to this when it can be avoided. The whole concept is absurd. It's polluting in almost every aspect of the process. It can also lead to drinking water contamination which branches off to many different kinds bodily harm. (Eg sensory, neurological and respiratory.) There's also the topic of environmental damage, such as destroying the ozone, the minor earthquakes, the atmosphere pollution and all the harmful chemicals released in the process.
Please don't corrupt my home.

fracking is unproven. It is investment wasted in a non-renewable energy source, when responsible funding would mean less reliance on fossil fuels. It has a poor safety record in countries which frack and can pollute the watertable.
