Once again people trying to enact laws for things they don't fully understand. We know what responsible flying means but unfortunately it is the few that don't that impact the masses...

This new LA City Law was enacted too hastily, without adequate notice and debate. It is inconsistent with and contradicts controlling FAA policies governing the National Airspace System (NAS) in many material ways!
This new City law is unecessarily and unreasonably interfering with the highly beneficial emerging drones technology!
If the LA City leaders insist upon having their own drones law, the least that they can do is be consistent with FAA SUAS Drones safety policies. In its present form this new law is the cause of undue confusion, fear, and consternation among many decent law abiding US Citizens!

FPV is not a crime and this ordinance will not prevent those who fly in an irresponsible manner. Please reconsider. This will only affect the responsible and passionate FPVers.

Please don't ban fpv. We do not want to destroy property, yours or ours. We are not the criminal element, and no regulations or ban will keep the criminal element from committing crimes.

There's no reason to publish an entire community over the actions of a few. I think that people that do stupid things with their drones should be punished, but the majority of the Fpv flyers pose no risk to the public.

Why is FPV bad? The people making the law have no idea what it is that they are banning and are just listening to the hype and media. Maybe they should talk to the people who fly FPV or try it them selves.

I think that this law is nonsense I don't see no danger on the fpv if anything you are taking my wings my dreams of me flying and that's not a good thing just don't take my wings from me plz

just because one or so people do stupid things, doesn't mean that the people that respect and use the hobby in safe manner shouldn't be disciplined. get the hobby safe and bring more people in to create a happy new environment for the public to see that quads are not scary and are completely fun.

Fpv is a side of the rc hobby that is very enjoyable it just needs to be done safely mainly not flying to high the people buzzing around the trees in the parks aren't hurting anyone.

This ban is beyond unreasonable. This hobby carries no more risk of injury to another person as any other outdoor hobby.

Please do not ban FPV flight. Light RC aircraft pose no more harm or risk than does a bird. This is a free country, let the people enjoy their freedom to do what they want as long as it is done safely.
