I oppose construction of a 1/3 mile private fence on the Jefferson County
Open Space property known as "Parcel A". Jefferson County's ownership deed
restrictions clearly state the only permitted construction on Parcel A is
that which is "integral to or necessary for serving....open space
purposes, with recreational, wildlife, habitat and scenic uses." A
1/3 mile fence will damage the meadow, create an eyesore and restrict the public's use of the the open space for recreation.
This fencing decision was essentially settled in 2006. The new owners purchased the property understanding this (or they did not perform their proper DD) and should not be allowed to NOW build new private fences or whatever they fancy. Both the North Ranch HOA and KCR Board / HOA should allow for facts to be shared openly and for KCR residents to comment.
