I oppose construction of a 1/3 mile private fence on the Jefferson County Open Space property known as "Parcel A". Jefferson County's ownership deed restrictions clearly state the only permitted construction on Parcel A is that which is "integral to or necessary for serving....open space purposes, with recreational, wildlife, habitat and scenic uses." A 1/3 mile fence will damage the meadow, create an eyesore and restrict the public's use of the the open space for recreation.

The momentum is undeniable now. People are clearly ready to defend our open space.

This fencing decision was essentially settled in 2006. The new owners purchased the property understanding this (or they did not perform their proper DD) and should not be allowed to NOW build new private fences or whatever they fancy. Both the North Ranch HOA and KCR Board / HOA should allow for facts to be shared openly and for KCR residents to comment.

I am strongly opposed to building a fence - it will be a disruption to wildlife and an obstacle to land Ken caryl residents pay for. Let the court's decision from 2006 stand.

This fence makes no sense and will significantly affect the views and feeling of open space which is the reason so many of us choose to live in Ken Caryl, especially the north ranch.

No valid reason for fence! I enjoy the open space and have run up this Jeffco trail in "Parcel A". It's a beautiful open space as it is. There is no need for the fence to serve the open space and the argument for needing one is absurd.

I definitely oppose the private fence on the public easement known as "Parcel A", this is a beautiful part of our valley, and a fence will unnecessarily damage the meadow and the scenery surrounding the area. NO NEED! Let's have a community input meeting, and see how our neighbors feel about this!

Fencing off a public easement sets a very bad precedent. There is no reason for this fence that is in the public interest. It will restrict access and impede wildlife.

As a Kcr Resident who uses all the adjacent traiks/roadway, I find this extremely DANGEROUS. Not to mention Sawyer has no legal basis to out up fencing with lights. Surely jeffco will do the right thing.... Eventually.

I oppose the construction of the fence.
