We, the undersigned, as members of the Cordillera community, are writing to register our concerns over the recent landscaping decisions made by the Cordillera POA and the subsequent rationale for the Fakes that was emailed this morning. As property owners we have chosen to live and invest in this community, at least in part, because of the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country and because, historically, the Cordillera POA has demonstrated a strong commitment to maintain this aesthetic. We find the recent addition of FAKE flowers in our common areas as an undesirable deviation from this commitment.

Since the rationale cited financial considerations for investing in Fake flowers as compared to the costs of maintaining real but non-native flowers, we propose an even greater cost savings: remove all fake and non-native color from the common areas. Clearly, no flowers will a lot less expensive than Fake flowers. We recognize that this will mean at certain times of the year there will be limited color in the landscape. However, we accept this as a natural occurrence and in keeping with the look and feel of the Texas Hill Country.
