Of course Facebook wouldn't ban a legal item! That would be something they would do in China or a country where human rights are not advocated.

Person to person transactions are perfectly legal and there is no reason why Facebook should ban these groups. Any seller with common sense knows to back out of the sale if the buyer just gives them a bad feeling. This is legal and any buyer or seller has the right to make the transfer at a local FFL licensed tranferee for a fee. Advertising on here is no different than advertising our guns for sale on gunbroker or armslist, it is just another way of helping us sell our guns or find the guns we are interested in.

It would be a disgrace to ban guns and would basically be telling the millions if gun owning conservatives out there that they do not agree with free speech or second amendment.

We as free Americans use gun trading sites to indulge in a safe legal hobby. Those of us who use these sites are responsible legal citizens who are in no way trying to break the law or endanger anyone. As an administrator of such a site I go to great lengths to make sure no one is underage and try to remind all members to obey laws and trade safely. I for one will quit using Facebook if they bow to the pressure of fanatics who are firmly against anyone jn this country owning a firearm of any kind!

If you ban gun groups, you will need to be prepared to be asked to ban cooking groups, religious groups, all groups.. Social media should never have restrictions.
