Even though the other boards did not have time off, there was always the thought that our board would be next in the back of our minds, causing teachers to speed up projects and summatives, constantly change due dates and clump things together so that they would "get our marks in" before the professed strike happened. I personally had 8 assignments all due in one day, 6 for one class and two for another, one was a summative, "in case they announced the strike for the next week." Aside from it being grade 12, it has been an overly stressful year because of the alleged strike that never happened.
