Exams shouldn't decide our fate; they just test memorization. In a real life job scenario, employees will have tools with them that will help them succeed such as computers and notes. Why should a test determine what may happen to a student in the future? All it does is stress students out.

you guys are ignorant, writing exams will only prepare you for university or college more. a 15 % exam here will not effect your grade more than a 2 or 3 percent, though it could save it if you are failing. 80% exams are a thing in University so take advantage if the form now so you can excel!

Either all students should have exams, or no students should have exams at all.

This is so unfair and they should have exams no matter what.

I completely agree! Exams only teach students to memorize. They don't teach students analytical and critical thinking skills.

If it is fair that you are looking for, exams or no exams will not change anything. What needs to change is teachers who are there just for the money refusing to do their job because they do not feel they are getting paid "enough" to do their job.

If there will be no exams for 10% of students, there should be no exams for ALL STUDENTS. Consistency is key. The declaration of human rights states "higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit." In that case either the students not writing exams, write an exam or go back for 12+ to merit their spot in higher education. To be consistent with the rest of students who will have written exams and merited their spot in university.
