my school board didn't personally strike but the majority of ontario school boards did and it's very unfair to give them an exam on stuff they probably never learned because they were off school for up to 7 weeks.

I agree, why do I have to work hard and give my all if public school students don't have to write their final exams. I got declined from my top choice because my mark was not competitive while there was definitely a student from a public school who got accepted into the same program.
